Greetings!
Mmm, I am on a
roll. I've written 5 shorts stories since Saturday, and they're so much
fun. They include, "Aliens", "The Doll", "Coffee", "Balloons" and "Mother's Day".
I'm going to go along with the ghost short story now. It might be a couple chapters or so, and it's not only going to be dialogue like the other five. That'd kinda be too hard.
The rough plot idea thing for the ghost short story has something to do with sacrifice. That's basically all I've got so far. Of course, I think of the quotes before anything else and try to build the story off of quotes. That's how
Alexa's Diary: Eighth Grade started. But as you can see, that was successful. I'm still writing that.
So any way, there's more of course to the ghost story (which might be titled something kick ass like "The Book of Days" or "Your Seven Days" or maybe something like "Some Ordinary Town") but the only sure thing I know about it is that it's about sacrifice. Ooooh, blah. Creepy, I know.
Yippee...
So, the last thing I'm going to ramble about is my plans for the other short stories of mine. The only dialogue ones. Those are fun. I'm going to try to write 26 of 'em. One for each letter of the alphabet. I've gotten "A", "B", "C", "D" and "M". I just don't know what to do for "E" and "F". Maybe "Eggs" for "E" and "Fish" for "F". But unlike the others, I can't just pull things off the top of my head (excuse me if that's not how the expression goes) that have to do with eggs and fish. I mean, really. Maybe I should look in the dictionary and pick out some word that looks like it could be made into a story? There's a thought.
Anyhow, my rambling is done. If you're still reading this, thanks for sticking through the whole post. I know, I know. Me+ talking= tiresome. I wouldn't be surprised if someone came up to me one day and said something like, "Stop talking. I've run out of aspirin." Fwee.
Thanks!
